Reaching the lost is the heart of our missions. Our missions include witnessing to the apartments next door to funding missionaries overseas and aboard. "He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." Mark 16:15. This is the Great Commission. We have a desire and an obligation to win as many as possible for the Lord through the Word, music, missions or Bible school. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.


SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: Each summer on every third Saturday our church grounds comes alive with music. This music includes praise music, Hispanic music, southern gospel and comtemporary. Whatever type of christian music you like there is a good chance we have it. This is a casual evening where individuals can come and enjoy the fellowship of one another while enjoying good christian music. If the weather is good we love to play outside under our pavilion.

We also have added Christian Family Movie night directly after the music. Nothing like a movie and popcorn to finish a great evening. A movie will be shown that will be enjoyable for the entire family.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Here at North Bowling Green Church of God, we put a major emphasis on our Vacation Bible School program. From stage props to interactive learning, our VBS program is second to none. Each nights kids will take part in a Bible lesson, eat delicious snacks, participate in music, burn energy in cool games, but most of all learn about the Lord. Each area stresses the major theme for that night, pounding the point home to the kids. Nursery is available for the young ones. We also capture the entire week on camera.

VBS at North Bowling Green Church of God is always the third full week in June. Whether you are 1 or 101 VBS is for you. Come be a part of a fantastic week that will leave kids smiling and begging for more of the Lord.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES: Our visitation or outreach ministries' team here at North Bowling Green Church of God, is a group of people who love to share the Lord. On Thursday nights we visit several retirement villages and nursing homes in Bowling Green. With the help of guitars and a piano we sing and play several hymns with a short devotion. Not only do we worship with these fine folks but we also take time to talk to them and really get to know them. We do this not because we have to, but because we want to.

HISPANIC OUTREACH: Stepping out on faith is the key. North Bowling Green Church of God has added an additional service at the church. Currently at 2:00pm in our Fellowship Hall we have implemented our hispanic outreach service. This give hispanics in our community the ability to worship the Lord in a penecostal environment with the freedom to worship in their own language. Come be a part of an exciting new ministry here at NBGCOG.
