Lifebuilders at North Bowling Green Church of God
Named the "Swordsmen" based on the Bible verse "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another - Proverbs 27:17", Lifebuilders at North Bowling Green Church of God provides a ministry outlet for men to come together and discuss men's needs and responsibilities according to the Word of God. The mission statement is "Christ centered ministry uniting men through vital fellowship with God, family and the world by strengthening his daily spiritual walk."
Throughout the year Lifebuilder's sponsors many events at North Bowling Green Church of God. The events includes an annual skeetshoot, state conference, food baskets, kid's fishing trip, chili supper, and the Valentine's dinner for the ladies of the church. These events allows men to fellowship with one common goal, serving the Lord.
Currently the Swordsmen meet once a month for business and devotion. The Lifebuilders just completed a course on "What God Expects From Men" by Bill George and are currently studying the devotional "Stand By Your Pastor" by Floyd Carey. The Swordsmen also meet the last Saturday of the month for breakfast and fellowship at various local restuarants. Check the calendar for changes and up to date information on Lifebuiler's events.
