About Us
Located in Bowling Green Kentucky, North Bowling Green Church of God was established in 1978. As a member of The Church of God in Cleveland TN, North Bowling Green Church of God maintains it's penecostal roots in worshiping the Lord. The church invite individuals to worship in a way that is comforable to them.
In Spring of 1998, the church started a building program and built a beatiful church behind the original that seats approximately 200 individuals. The church was completed late that year. The old church was converted to a fellowship hall that will seat close to 100 individuals. A pavilion is also located on the property for outside gatherings, singings and Vaction Bible School.
Currently the church is pastored by Rev. Stephen Oliver. Pastor Oliver, a native of Jamestown KY, has been pastor at North Bowling Green Church of God since 1984. He is married to Shirley Oliver, formerly of Russell Springs KY and the daugher of Church of God preacher Leland McQueary. They have a one son Matthew and one daughter Michelle.
